Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon is a political scientist, acclaimed author, and former Director of the Trudeau Centre at the University of Toronto. His personal website contains his published articles, books and related resources.
Developed his personal website based on design by Astrolab Design in 2003. In 2005, the website was redesigned with new digital photography and a discussion forum. Ongoing work includes PDF creation and regular text updates. Future updates include a Wiki resource sub-site, and RSS feeds. www.homerdixon.com

Located at the University of Toronto, the Trudeau Centre of Peace and Conflict Studies offers programs for students interested in peace and conflict studies. Working with the original logo and basic website design (provided by Astrolab Design) it has evolved into a comprehensive website, not only for the students and faculty at the school. Visitors from all over the globe have utilized the website's resources, including the research documents, forums and calendars. The website was launched in stages between 2004 - 2006. Wind in my Sails offers luxurious yacht charters, sailing Georgian Bay and the Caribbean. The challenge was to create a fresh, vibrant, aquatic-inspired design that reflected the owner's personalities as well as the business. The website is image-intensive, emphasizing the unique perspective "life on a boat" has to offer. Potential clients are drawn into the static photographs and animated Flash 'scrapbooks'. A Brokers Login allows professionals to see the up-to-date sailing schedule and availability. The initial website was launched in spring 2005; the latest version was launched in spring 2006. Las Gatas Entertainment is an exotic jazz dance troupe offering choreography and performances. They were seeking a classy yet sexy design, showcasing their photos, video and booking information. A compilation video on the homepage and fading images on the contact page were created with Flash. The website launched in the spring of 2006. Virtual Visit Presentations offers a suite of hotel presentation & inspection products (sales tool) to clients around the world. Work involved designing interfaces and floorplans for individual locations of hotel brands (Hilton, LaPlaya, Vintage, Doubletree, Sheraton, Ritz Carlton, etc) for their customized site inspection software. www.virtualvisit.ca
Dr. Shana O. Kelley was named by MIT's Technology Review magazine as one of the world's 100 Top Young Innovators for her research and significant innovations in such areas as biotechnology and medicine, computing, and nanotechnology. As a professor at the University of Toronto, her group (Kelley Laboratory) develops new sensors and probes for the detection and diagnosis of disease and the study of biological function. The ultimate goal of this effort is to produce new tools for medicine and medical research. A new logo, inspired by spiraling DNA helix, was designed. In'I Hair Design is a full-service hair and aesthetics salon in downtown Toronto. Advertising, pricelist, coupons, and gift certificates were designed. A sidewalk sandwich board was also built featuring a chalkboard and the In'I logo.
